This Refund Policy outlines the terms regarding fees, payments, and refunds for the services we provide. Please read this policy in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions and your specific Client Service Agreement. The terms of your signed Client Service Agreement shall supersede any general terms in this policy in the event of a conflict.
1. General Principle
As a provider of financial services, including advisory, brokerage, and facilitation services, our fees are generally charged for services rendered, expertise provided, and work performed. This differs from a refund policy for physical goods.
- Service Fees: Fees paid to FSFB for services such as consultation, advisory, application processing, and brokerage are for the provision of these services and our professional time.
- Non-Refundable Fees: In most cases, fees and retainers paid to FSFB for services that have already commenced or been completed are non-refundable.
2. Consultation & Advisory Fees
Any fees paid for initial consultations, advisory services, financial analysis, or retainer agreements are considered earned upon provision of the service. These fees compensate for the time, expertise, and resources expended in evaluating your financial situation and providing professional advice. As such, these fees are non-refundable.
3. Application & Processing Fees
Fees charged for the processing of applications (e.g., property mortgage, trade finance, merchant cash advance) cover the administrative costs, due diligence, and work involved in preparing, submitting, and managing your application.
- These processing fees are non-refundable once FSFB has commenced work on your file, regardless of the application’s outcome (whether approved, declined by the financial institution, or withdrawn by you).
4. Third-Party Costs
During the provision of our services, it may be necessary to pay fees to third parties (e.g., property valuation fees, credit report fees, government agency fees, legal fees, or bank processing fees).
- You are responsible for the payment of all such third-party costs.
- FSFB is not responsible for refunding any fees paid to third parties under any circumstances.
5. Cancellation of Services
You may cancel your engagement with FSFB at any time by providing written notice, subject to the terms of your Client Service Agreement.
- Upon cancellation, you will be liable for all fees for services rendered and any third-party costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.
- No refunds will be provided for services already performed.
6. No Guarantee of Outcome
FSFB acts as a broker and intermediary. We do not guarantee a successful outcome for any application (e.g., loan approval, specific investment returns, or finance terms). The final decision rests with the respective financial institution or third-party provider. Our fees are for the services we perform and are not contingent upon the outcome of your application.
7. Policy Modifications
FSFB reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website (https://www.fsfb.ae/) and will be effective immediately. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
